ANN JONES GUIDER – EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE
 

  • Retired as Douglas County Tax Commissioner in 2008 after 28 years.
  • Served as President, Vice President, and Second Vice President of the Georgia Association of Tax Officials (GATO).
  • Served as Chair of Modernization Committee several years for GATO .
  • Served as President and Vice President of the Tax Commissioners’ Technology Association (TCtech).
  • Served on Steering Committee with State officials to implement the state-wide tag system.
  • Served on Steering Committee with state and county officials to implement on-line emission testing.
  • Serves on Technology Board for Douglas County Courthouse.
  • Founded and continues to direct a Celebrate Recovery (program for hurts, habits, and hang-ups) for 12 years at Ephesus Baptist Church.
  • Served 16 years on Board of Community Character Coalition of Douglas County.
  • Has been a member of Ephesus Baptist Church for 25 years
  • Married to Bob Guider; 4 children, 5 grand-children.
