DOWNED TREES AND DEBRIS FROM STORM

I have asked the County Manager about who will be clearing all the debris along the roads left from the snow storm last week.  He has assured me and others that Douglas County Department of Transportation will be removing it if it is on the county right-of-way.  I believe from talking to others around the county that the western side (particularly District 4) was hit the hardest.  Hopefully we will be seeing some progress soon, as much of the debris is causing site problems and, in some places, touches the edge of the road, causing traffic to have to move beyond the center of the road to pass.  Please be extra cautious until such time as it is removed.
