I am officially announcing that I WILL be running for re-election this year.  Even with all the challenges that a District Commissioner may face, I truly enjoy serving my community.  My favorite part of serving is helping citizes solve the problems they may encounter when interacting with the local government.  I love and care about Douglas County, where my husband and I have called home for over 65 years.   I strongly feel there is a dire need to continue to have a moderate and conservative voice on the Board of Commissioners. Should I again be elected by you to represent you for the next 4 years, I will continue to keep what the people want, to fix what we need to repair, to provide the services that the people deserve, and to grow at the level we can only afford.  I will be running on the Republican Ticket.  Ann Jones Guider
